Dr. Charles Munger on Science and Religion

Prof. McConnell has asked Charles Munger to give an informal chat about religion and science in public school curriculum. Dr. Munger (in addition to being the son of the distinguished lawyer and donor of the new graduate residence halls) is a physicist and religious believer, and served on the California Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission, where he chaired the committee on science curriculum. Dr. Munger will be in Room 290 on Wednesday , Nov. 4 from 4pm to 6pm. This will not be a formal speech or lecture, but an opportunity for discussion with someone with real experience in dealing with the issues of science and religion. Please join Prof. McConnell and his Religion and the First Amendment class and come prepared to ask questions and engage with the speaker.
