Biography

Leah J. Russin joined Stanford Law School's Environmental Law Clinic as a fellow in 2007.

Russin was most recently a litigation associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges in Los Angeles, where her pro bono work included assisting environmental groups oppose the extension of a toll road through a state park. Prior to this, she served as a clerk for Chief Judge Paul J. Barbadoro at the United States District Court in New Hampshire. A 2002 graduate of Duke University School of Law, Russin worked as a research assistant to environmental law professors Jonathan B. Wiener and Christopher Schroeder and as research editor for the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum and the Alaska Law Review. Before going to law school, she taught both high school science and math.
