John Crawford

Biography

John Crawford joined Stanford Law School as a teaching fellow in 2008. He is responsible for all aspects of the Corporate Governance & Practice LLM Program, including student advising and teaching. Crawford’s research interests are corporate and securities law and comparative corporate and securities law.

Prior to joining Stanford Law School, Crawford was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he represented corporations and private equity firms in mergers and acquisitions as well as underwriters and issuers on IPOs and other securities offerings. He also served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge John T. Noonan, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In 2006 Crawford earned a JD from Stanford Law School and an MA in international relations and economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins.
