Douglas W. Kmiec is Chair and Professor of Constitutional Law at Pepperdine University.

Professor Kmiec served as head of the Office of Legal Counsel to presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. He currently holds the Caruso Family Chair in Constitutional Law at Pepperdine University School of Law and is a frequent contributor to the Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, and other publications.
