"Academic vs. Real World Ethics: A View from Both Sides of the Issue" featuring GSB Professors David Brady and Dale Miller
GSB Professors David Brady and Dale Miller will discuss a variety of ethical views corporations today can pursue and the different ways corporations can implement the tenets of social responsibility. They will also share their perspectives on what motivates a firm to become socially responsible and how industry leaders think about the ethical issues related to social responsibility. Finally, they will share examples of firms that have been both successful and unsuccessful in instilling an ethical, responsible corporate social element.
This is the first of two faculty led seminars exploring the issues of ethics. This first seminar discusses ethics from the business perspective. Look for another seminar in early April examining the legal aspects of ethical issues.
The seminar is $35 per person and includes a reception. 1.5 MCLE ethics credits are offered.
