Join the Alameda County Bar Association Volunteer Legal Services Corporation as they honor the VLSC volunteers who provided pro bono legal services last year. The evening will feature a provocative discussion between Dean Christopher Edley of Boalt Hall School of Law, and Dean Larry Kramer of Stanford Law School. Leslie Guevarra, Bay Area media and communications professional, will be the event's mistress of ceremonies. There will also be a rousing performance by The Pro Bono Players, and an exciting silent auction with a skybox at Oakland Arena, fine wines, Hawaiian vacation, and many other items. All proceeds support the work of VLSC. During a delicious dinner, they will honor VLSC volunteers and Lawyers in the Library volunteers, present the Volunteer of the Year Award to Larry E. Lulofs and the Mentor of the Year Award to the ACBA Family Law Section, and the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Public Service to Dianne E. Archer, Michael J. Brodie, Phillip Campbell, Elizabeth A. Clark, Nikki Clark, Brian E. Doucette, Teresa Green, Jacqueline Julien, Guy Louie, Larry E. Lulofs, Ivy McCray, Leah Presley, and Carrie Schneider.
