Please join us for a discussion on the international law and policy frameworks that are being developed and implemented to counter piracy in the Horn of Africa. The event will feature James Kraska, a Guest Investigator at the Marine Policy Center, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and faculty member of the International Law Department, US Naval War College.
Commander Kraska has extensive experience with maritime security issues, international maritime conventions, and the law of the sea; he has recently submitted an article on piracy in the Gulf of Aden for publication by the Stanford Journal of International Law.
