Part of Professor Joan Petersilia's Sentencing, Corrections and Criminal Justice Policy course, guest speaker Don Specter, the Director of the Prison Law Office and the attorney who argued Plata v. Schwarzenegger in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, will discuss constitutional rights of prisoners and efforts at litigating reform.
