With the title, "The Supreme Court Term," renowned Law Professor Pamela Karlan will speak about some of the blockbuster cases the Court will hear this year. She will touch on issues including new technologies, health care, immigration, and civil liberties.
Karlan, who was educated at Yale and clerked for Justice Harry A. Blackmun, now teaches at Stanford Law School, co-directs the school's Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, and writes numerous legal articles and documents. She has worked on more than 70 merit cases at the Supreme Court, arguing seven.
