Dr. Philip Zimbardo


WHAT ARE THE HUMAN AND ORGANIZATIONAL POSSIBILITIES IF EVERYONE HAD THE SKILLS AND MOTIVATION TO CONSISTENTLY ACT ON THEIR VALUES?

Overview:

• A keynote presentation by renowned social psychologist, Dr. Philip Zimbardo, on how to create heroic leadership by corporate directors and senior management that inspires values-based action, engages employees, and increases the positive impact of business on society.

o Dr. Zimbardo will explore the profound impact that context and situational influence have on our behavior.

o He will build a foundation of understanding of key social psychology concepts using relevant examples from the work setting and the greater society.

o Participants will have an opportunity to dialogue with Dr. Zimbardo throughout his talk, as well as engage in exercises that will open the dialogue up to how these concepts impact people, their work environment and personal lives.

o Participants will get an understanding of the skills needed to consistently take ethically courageous action in the face of normal fear and discomfort, the cornerstone of self-correcting cultures of integrity.

• Dr. Zimbardo will conclude by describing how HIP works with corporate leaders, kids and the public to inspire everyday heroism in society, and open the floor to a final Q&A where participants have the opportunity to ask Dr. Zimbardo the hard questions.
