    When, how, and whether a person can become a citizen of a country is extremely significant, especially in the age of technology. The subject of citizenship is rich with possibility. Some people have access to citizenship of multiple countries, while others are stateless. Citizenship is treated frequently as an immigration issue, but it is far more, going to questions of allegiance, government, and civic responsibility.
