About the Speaker:
Stanley Fish is a literary theorist, legal scholar, and public intellectual. He is the Davidson-Kahn Distinguished Professor of Humanities and professor of law at Florida International University, Miami, and Dean Emeritus of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is the author of 12 books and a regular column on the New York Times online.
