Harris, Attorney General of the State of California, and Preet Bharara, United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, for a wide-ranging discussion of the threat that cybercrime poses to the economy and steps that corporate America and government can take to counter the threat. From theft of intellectual property, to identity theft, to hack attacks, and online fraud, cybercrime represents one of the greatest challenges facing our economy and public safety. These leading law enforcement officials will discuss how the private sector can constructively work with law enforcement authorities to address these threats, and the challenges presented by the need to balance privacy concerns with effective deterrence and law enforcement.
