Bob Bauer has spent his career at the intersection of politics, elections, and the law.  Mr. Bauer is the general counsel to the Democratic National Committee, and served in the same role for President Obama's election and re-election campaigns.  President Obama also recently named him, along with Ben Ginsburg, as co-chairman of the President's Committee on Election Administration.  From December 2009 to June 2011 he served as President Obama's White House counsel.
