The purpose of LSFAD is to expose disadvantaged youth, specifically middle school students, to the inner-workings of a law school: the culture, the atmosphere, the people.  Exposing these youth to higher-level academic settings at a young age will give them invaluable insight and, in turn, open their minds to the plethora of options available to them as they mature.
