Ann James joins us from Stanford’s Office of the General Counsel, where she is the Senior University Counsel representing the Stanford Medical Center.

James’s varied background spans the medical/ legal field.  She has conducted microbiology at the NASA Johnson Space Center, been a partner/ leader of the health care section at Jenkins & Gilchrist. She has served as an executive in two women's healthcare companies, and consulted on business issues for a variety of clients, and currently sits on the board of Duke Scientific, Inc. in Palo Alto.
