Big Law on the Small Screen: Creating The Good Wife

The Center on the Legal Profession will feature Robert and Michelle King, creators and executive producers of The Good Wife, in its third annual conference on pop culture and the legal profession. After a screening of an episode, Robert and Michelle King will discuss the process and challenges of bringing the law firm of Lockhart Gardner to the small screen and then participate in a question and answer session moderated by David Ginsburg, Executive Director of UCLA School of Law's Entertainment and Media Law Policy Program. The second panel will feature Stanford Law School Professors Michael Asimow, Deborah Rhode, and Robert Gordon discussing legal ethics issues that have been encountered on the show. Lunch will be served, and a reception will follow the event.

Attendees will receive one hour of California MCLE Ethics credit. Event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
