Speaker: Paul Marchegiani, Director of Business Affairs for NBCUniversal in Los Angeles
Paul negotiates high value TV talent and rights deals for Bravo, Oxygen, and Style Media. Previously, Paul worked as Senior Counsel, Legal Affairs for NBCUniversal’s TV contracts group, where he drafted and negotiated longform talent, rights, and license agreements for hit shows such as “The Office” and “America’s Got Talent”. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2008, Paul worked as a litigation associate in the San Francisco offices of Morrison & Foerster and Orrick, where he focused on securities, white collar, IP, and commercial litigation. Paul has taught entertainment law courses at U.C. Berkeley School of Law and Chapman University, and is a frequent moderator, panelist, and guest lecturer at conferences and law schools throughout the country. He holds a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley, and both a B.Mus. in Voice & Opera and a B.A. in History from Northwestern University.
