So You Want to Practice International Law?

President Donald Donovan and Executive Director Elizabeth Andersen of the American Society of International LAw will host a roundtable discussion with students on how to pursue careers in international law.
ASIL President Donovan is a partner in the New York Office of Debevoise & Plimpton, where he is widely recognized as one of the country's most accomplished international arbitration lawyers. He has been described as "one of the world’s leading practitioners in both investment treaty and commercial arbitration."
Ms. Andersen is an accomplished international lawyer in her own right. She has been Executive Director of ASIL since 2006. Prior to that, she served as the Executive Director of the American Bar Association's Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (ABA CEELI), and as Executive Director of Human Rights Watch's Europe and Central Asia Division.
