Farm Bill 101

The Food Law and Policy Society and Stanford Latino Law Students Association is hosting a panel to explain and debunk the myths surrounding U.S. farm policy and the Farm Bill. The panelists will debate the impacts of the Farm Bill on health, the environment, low-income communities, and small farmers. They will also discuss the political process of farm bill negotiations. Participants include Christine Fry from ChangeLab Solutions, Margot Pollans from UCLA's Resnick Program for Food Law and Policy, and David Lazarus (SLS '14), formally of the USDA. Moderated by Priya Fielding-Singh, Ph.D. Student, Stanford Food Forum.
