    Join the Stanford Criminal Justice Center and the Levin Center for this intimate talk with Nicholas Turner focused on criminal justice, philanthropy and nonprofit leadership.

    Turner is the current president and director of the Vera Institute for Justice, an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit center for justice policy and practice.  Prior to taking on this role, he was a managing director at The Rockefeller Foundation and earlier in his career he was previously vice president and chief program officer at Vera.

    A Yale Law School graduate, Turner was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jack. B. Weinstein, Senior United States District Judge in Brooklyn and an associate in a big law firm for a year before joining Vera the first time.
