Please join us for a discussion with danah boyd as she shares insights from her research and signs copies of her new book. It's Complicated is essential reading not only for parents, teachers and others who work with teens but also for anyone interested in the impact of emerging technologies on society, culture and commerce in years to come. danah boyd is a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research, a Research Assistant Professor in Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University, and a Fellow at Harvard's Berkman Center. Her research examines social media, youth practices, tensions between public and private, social network sites, and other intersections between technology and society, focusing especially on on how young people use social media as part of their everyday practices.
