Gun Control in the Era of Heller

Christine Van Aken, the Chief of Appellate Litigation in the San Francisco City's Attorney Office, will discuss her office's gun control efforts, recent federal litigation, and the prospects of the Supreme Court reentering the gun control debate.
Ms. Aken is currenty a Deputy City Attorney in San Francisco. She is a graduate of the New York University School of Law and a former law clerk to Justice David Souter.
Mike McLivley tracks Second Amendment litigation and legilsation nationwide for the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. Mr. McLively went to the University of Virginia School of Law and worked as a litigator for several years as an associate at Jones Day in San Francisco.
