The Center for Law and the Biosciences and the BioLaw and Health Policy Society present Katrina Karkazis, from the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics, discussing her work on "gender verification" policies for elite female athletes. Dr. Karkazis is a leading expert on controversies about treatment for people with intersex traits, and, among other things, recently published an op-ed in the New York Times about testing for testosterone in female athletes.
