Christian Legal Society

Overview

The Christian Legal Society is a national organization of lawyers, judges, law professors, and law students. Stanford's chapter is a nondenominational group of students and others in the Law School community who meet weekly to study the Bible and to encourage one another to integrate faith in Jesus Christ with the study and practice of law.

CLS seeks to foster discussion of religious issues, to assert a high standard of legal ethics, and to promote religious freedom. The society brings Christian attorneys, teachers, and judges to campus to address new issues concerning religion and society.
