Giving to Stanford Law School
Stanford Law School is advancing the future of legal education, responding to the changing world in which lawyers today operate. Understanding the fundamentals of law and "thinking like a lawyer" remain the very heart of what it is to be a lawyer. At their best, lawyers are problem-solvers, and today's problems—whether in the public or private sector—require skills beyond those taught in the traditional legal curriculum. Through interdisciplinary education and experiential learning, students can explore the intersection of law with other fields. These opportunities, and more broadly, Stanford Law School’s strength and agility, are possible because of the generous investment alumni and friends make in the school.
Our mission is to educate the next generation of lawyers and leaders. We are committed to making SLS accessible to all qualified applicants, irrespective of their financial means. Our clinical program is an important component of the school’s curriculum, with more than 70% of law students enrolling in a clinic. Maintaining our diverse student body and strong clinical program are among the school's highest priorities. We are grateful for the support we receive from the school's alumni and friends, which makes our success possible.
