Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union and alumnus Anthony Romero '90 honored with Stanford Law School's inaugural award for the public-interest lawyer of the year. The Law School and the Stanford Public Interest Law Foundation selected Romero for his leadership at the ACLU following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
