Agent Tied to McNamee Is Interviewed
Professor Deborah L. Rhode is quoted in a New York Times article about baseball player Roger Clemens' testimony before a congressional oversight committee:
Deborah L. Rhode, a professor at Stanford University Law School, who worked as a lawyer for the House Judiciary Committee during former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment hearings and has followed the Clemens case, said Murray’s account could be important if there was no other corroborating evidence to support McNamee.
“It’s a classic way to bolster McNamee’s credibility,” Rhode said in a telephone interview Thursday. “Otherwise, it is just two differing accounts, which we have seen a lot in this matter.”
