Lecturer in Law and Executive Director of the Center for Internet and Society Lauren Gelman is quoted in a San Francisco Chronicle article about the blog Think Secret, which was involved in a lawsuit with Apple that brought to the fore "questions about free speech rights and whether they applied to bloggers and online journalists in the new media age."

Nevertheless, Lauren Gelman, executive director for the Stanford Center for Internet and Society, said Think Secret's closing is a disappointment for the Apple community.

"Think Secret has proven in the past to be a source of information that Apple did not want released, and now the community of Apple users has lost that resource," she said.
