Death Penalty Moratorium Lifted
Professor Robert Weisberg talks to Scott Shafer of KQED's The California Report about U.S. District Judge Jeremy Fogel's (also a lecturer at Stanford Law School) decision to lift the California death penalty moratorium:
A federal judge in San Jose has lifted his moratorium on lethal injections, clearing the way for the first execution in California in more than five years. Albert Greenwood Brown is scheduled to die next week, and today's decision by Judge Jeremy Fogel removes the biggest legal hurdle to that happening.
Host Scott Shafer talks with Stanford Law Professor Robert Weisberg, who has been following the legal developments.
