Professor Kenneth E. Scott is quoted in a San Francisco Chronicle story about the Wells Fargo takeover of Wachovia bank:

"The basic deal has got to be close to sealed," Stanford law Professor Kenneth Scott said.

He added that the government may require minor divestitures or conditions for approval, but he didn't think any of those could derail the takeover.
