Anna Oberthur notes Professor Lessig and quotes Anthony Falzone, Executive Director of the Fair Use Project, describing the Fair Use Project and its short history, and relating it to Stanford in the James Joyce and YouTube cases.

"The critical thing to remember about fair use is that it protects free-speech rights," said Anthony Falzone, the Fair Use Project's executive director. "If copyright protection were absolute and we didn't have the fair use exception, we couldn't really even talk about copyrighted material."
