Professor Mark A. Lemley is referenced in a Consumer Electronics Daily article about the recent settlement between Immersion and Internet Services over a patent dispute:
... Internet Services attorney Mark Lemley argued that a late 2000 deal the company signed with Immersion, conferring "exclusive rights" to rumble technology used in "age-restricted games," gave it standing as a plaintiff in the case with Immersion and Sony and entitling it to a cut of damages awarded Immersion. The California District Court dismissed Internet Services' own patent infringement suit against Sony with prejudice. But Internet Services later tried to join Immersion as a plaintiff.
