IP Lawyers Wonder If Peer Review Will Help Patent Process

In an attempt to make the patent industry less litigious, a Peer-To-Patent Project is in the works where outside experts review complex patent issues. The following is a quote from the article:

"Mark Lemley, a professor at Stanford University and a pre-eminent scholar of intellectual property law, called peer review 'a good test,' but he said its success will hinge on the amount of public participation."

"If you build it, will they come?" Lemley asked.
