Jumping up to Tier 2 in both the national copyright and patent contentious rankings, Durie Tangri is a single office, San-Francisco-based litigation boutique with 17 attorneys. The firm has consistently been turning heads in the IP world since 2008 when founders Daralyn Durie, Ragesh Tangri, Mark Lemley, Clem Roberts and Ryan Kent left Keker & Van Nest to start their own shop. Daralyn Durie is one of the founding partners and plays a lead role in many of the firm's most significant cases. She currently represents Google in the company's defense of copyright infringement claims brought by a group of authors involving the issue of scanning works in major library collections. The case is one of the most closely watched copyright matters in the nation. Clement Roberts, Michael Page and Ragesh Tangri are also highly respected litigators in the California IP market and beyond.
