Lecturer in Law Thomas Goldstein comments in the Daily Journal on last year's Supreme Court Term:

"This is a term in which the court turned a corner," said Thomas C. Goldstein of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. "We've been talking for 20 years about the court going more conservative. But now they finally have five votes."

... and on Supreme Court Justice Kennedy:

"When someone is in the majority of every important case, and in the majority of every 5-4 decision, you know that they're the heart of the court," Goldstein said.
