Professor Mark A. Lemley comments in a Daily Journal article on the impact, especially in the Northern District of California, of a 2007 Supreme Court ruling (KSR v. Teleflex, 2007 DJDAR 5934) on future patent infringement cases:

Lemley and other legal observers say it is too early to draw sweeping conclusions about the impact of the KSR. He cautioned that the statistical data thus far is incomplete and based on a small batch of cases.
