The Washington Business Journal reports:

Thomas Goldstein, partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in D.C., could have a starring role in a new NBC show.

Goldstein, who has argued 21 cases before the Supreme Court, also teaches Supreme Court litigation at Stanford Law School and Harvard Law School.

Production company Circle of Confusion spotted a cover story about him in New Republic a few years ago and called him up, expressing interest about turning the early stages of his career into a new TV show concept.

The show is based on how Goldstein set out at a young age to become a Supreme Court advocate. Before joining Akin Gump, Goldstein was a partner at Goldstein & Howe, the firm he founded in 1999.

“It’s an underdog story,” said Goldstein.
