Lecturer in Law and Executive Director of the Center for Internet and Society Jennifer Granick is quoted in an Anchorage Daily News story about a man whose laptop was confiscated after he used a public library's Internet connection in the library's parking lot.

The police may "use something that's not really illegal as a stalking horse to go looking for something else illegal," Granick said.
