Dean Larry Kramer is quoted in The Stanford Daily about a Law School event to debate Supreme Court decisions last night:

... [he] warned an audience of about 150 at the Law School that most federal judges cannot and often will not say anything controversial.

But ... the two judges who were part of the event "wasted no time disproving Kramer's theory" by pointing to the current problems in the Supreme Court.
