Professor Mark Lemley is quoted in Energy Law 360 about impending patent reform legislation:

"There's a real problem with applicants putting an application on file and then using continuation applications to keep it pending, and the world knows nothing about it," said Lemley of counsel at Keker & Van Nest LLP, who argued that allowing others a window on the application process could potentially help avoid conflicts down the road.

"On balance, it's probably good for the world," Lemley said.
