In a quest for tighter regulations securities lawyers are getting together to discuss more stringent corporate governance. Professor Grundfest is quoted:

Joseph Grundfest, a Stanford Law professor and a former SEC commissioner, convenes a group of lawyers from public pensions twice a year to discuss corporate governance.

Grundfest described it as a "high-brow discussion" that focuses on alternatives to litigation.
