The Stanford Daily interviewed several Stanford professors about this year's presidential primary, including the law school's Lawrence Marshall and Mariano-Florentino Cuellar:

...Both Professors Marshall and Cuellar used to work for President Clinton in previous campaigns but are now supporting Senator Barack Obama...

Law Prof. Lawrence Marshall, director of Stanford’s legal clinics, is an informal campaign adviser to Obama. He taught at Northwestern in Chicago for 18 years before coming to Stanford in 2004. He has been involved in the reform of the criminal justice system and the death penalty, co-founding the Center on Wrongful Convictions in 1999.

Law Prof. Mariano-Florentino Cuellar is the top immigration adviser to Obama’s campaign. Previously, he worked on Bill Clinton’s re-election campaign in 1996. He is an executive committee member of the Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation and the Stanford International Initiative. He has served as a senior advisor to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Under Secretary for Enforcement.
