The Daily Kos is intimating that Professor Lawrence Lessig might run for Tom Lantos' vacated Congressional seat. The Daily Kos bases this suggestion on a quote from an item in Lessig's blog:

The title was "My congressman is retiring" which is only slightly suggestive. But then the first comment, from an unknown source, said: "Run, Lawrence, run!"
