University of Guam Marine Laboratory scientists support the internationally released consensus statement entitled “Ecosystems and People of the Pacific Ocean: Threats and Opportunities for Action,” which was presented on Wednesday at the World Ocean Conference in Manado, Indonesia by Center for Ocean Solutions executive director, Meg Caldwell.

The consensus statement initially emerged from a COS scientific workshop held in Honolulu in conjunction with the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Ocean Conservancy.
