The Daily Journal quotes Professor Joseph Grundfest commenting about high-dollar settlements in securities class actions, which have almost quadrupled since 2005:

"If you asked me to wager a bet, I'd say that this is the peak," Grundfest said. "The numbers have nowhere to go but down."
