Stanford Univ. Hosts Debate on Affordable Care Act

Professor Pamela S. Karlan participated in a debate over the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. C-SPAN provided coverage of the event:

Stanford University hosts a debate on whether or not the Affordable Care Act is constitutional. The debate, featuring Profs. Randy Barnett of Georgetown University School of Law, and Pamela Karlan of Stanford Law School, was part of an all-day symposium entitled: “Bureaucracy Unbound: Can Limited Government and the Administrative State Co-Exist?”

The Hon. Sandra Ikuta, of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, serves as moderator for the debate, which happened earlier this month.
