The Right Choice For Workers

Publication Date:
March 06, 2007
Chicago Tribune

Professor William Gould was referenced in a Chicago Tribune editorial about the Employee Free Choice Act, a new bill that aims to make it easier for workers to unionize.

"Stanford law professor William Gould, a former head of the Labor Relations Board, cites data indicating that it takes an average of 802 days for the agency to resolve a disputed election. Some companies illegally retaliate against pro-union workers, and the penalties for such abuses are ineffectual."
