"Unusual" Deal Evolved To End HP Cases
Mercury News coverage of the felony charges against four defendants in Hewlett-Packard spying case calls the dismissal against former chairwoman Patricia Dunn and a deal to clear her three co-defendants of legal wrongdoing an "elaborate legal dance". The deal was "very unusual," said Stanford University law Professor Bob Weisberg. "Here, they're kind of making it up as they go along," he said, calling it a fair resolution.
