Executive Director of the Fair Use Project Anthony Falzone is quoted in a San Jose Mercury News story about the fine line between legality and fairness in a copyright case involving YouTube and Viacom:
"The problem Knight has is what he did with Viacom's work wasn't transformative. It's what I would called [sic] unadorned copying," said Anthony Falzone, executive director of Stanford Law School's Fair Use Project.
But "fair" and "fair use" aren't quite the same.
